Sketchy Records is proud to announce the release of Calgary Calling, a compilation album featuring some of the city’s best punk bands. This collection of 15 blistering tracks provides a sample of the city’s current punk scene, from newer bands that have only played a handful of shows to veteran bands who’ve been around for a while. The collection comes with a 20 page booklet that highlights each band, and kicks off with an intro by Calgary punk legend Kyle Hegel of Knucklehead and Territories fame. The album - from the artwork to the recording to the vinyl mastering and pressing - is all 100% local. The punk scene is alive and well in Calgary, and is only getting better. Knock, knock - Calgary Calling
